Mexican Gods Eye textile art for 9-16 year olds.

Gods Eyes originate in Mexico by the Huichol people who used them for prayer and protection. They are a great way of learning about other cultures and a good example of how textiles connect people across time and places. Kids aged 9-16 years will love making these simple textile artworks in colours of their choice. They will make 1 medium sized Gods Eye each, and tassels or pompoms can be added. They can also make some in miniature for jewellery, bag tags or decorations, time permitting.
